Silkscreening

Silkscreening is a great way to advertise your company. It allows you to imprint your idea in a larger format.

Silkscreening is like a painting. First your image is loaded in to an art program so that everything is converted to curves/outline. It is then printed in a negative on to a special film called PMT. Next a screen is coated with a photosensitive emulsion. The PMT is placed on it, and then exposed to high intensity light that causes the emulsion to harden in the areas not covered by a positive. Each color in the design gets its own film and screen.

After the order is completed the film is stored away for a repeat order and the screens are reused for the next order.
